Hello! Here is a painting from a few weeks ago. I have a few of them waiting for upload, so be prepared
With this image I had an idea for an action shot with a "framing composition". The frame is formed out of trees. Simplicity is very difficult (strange, huh?) , but also very rewarding. I am exterimenting a lot recently - I am even preparing myself to create some brushes, which is definetely gonna be a leap forward!
Maybe a little advice that I couldn't believe to be so much true one or two years ago - black and white study of a painting really makes it work! Even colours seem to be a result of values (not a surprise knowing what colour really is - value, hue, saturation). I am deeply surprised how I could avoid "foundations" over the years, because I wanted to see the finish line too quickly.
I'd be happy to hear your opinion about this image as I am always open to critique. I hope you enjoy this submission.
