Artwork done for a main menu background for Order of Battle: Pacific (www.slitherine.com/games/order… - Yamato vs Vought F4U Corsairs. It was great fun working on this topic and I was very thankful for much freedom from the client. I was going for a dynamic cinematic feel and I used modo for composition blockout. Cheers!

The Pacific Theatre of WW2 cannot be forgotten. Japan’s rapid expansion saw then commit loads of war crimes but at the same time, we cannot forget what America did in retaliation.
The Theatre must be remembered for the hundreds of Americans, Korean, Chinese, British, Australian, Indian and Kiwi troops who fought the Japanese to liberate everyone, but we also must remember Japan, who fought to the end to protect their homeland.
The Atomic Bombings were a war crime and should never have happened. Never forget the events of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Rest in Peace to those who died fighting for their homelands.
